The Classic Notcher for 2 pt. Rule

The Helmold Standard Notcher is used for notching or bridging rule. Having this notcher handy in your die rooms will save you valuable time again and again. The Helmold Standard Notcher is equipped with an adjustable link that allows male knives to be re-set and adjusted after sharpening. Standard notch sizes for this tool are 1/4” x 5/8” and 5/16” x 3/4”. Special sizes can be made to order.

This is an excellent starter tool for any die room; and a great second machine when you have to notch large quantities of rule at a time. The Standard Notcher is designed to easily notch 2 pt. rule and can also notch rule up to 3 pt. thickness. Shipping weight is 55 lbs. For best results, keep your knives sharp. Helmold recommends purchasing spare notch knives. This eliminates down time when sending dull knives out for sharpening.
